SUPPORT BOSTON CHINATOWN

Asian Community
Development Corporation

The livelihood of Greater Boston’s neighborhoods is threatened by increased gentrification. ACDC aims to protect these communities from rapid, luxury development, preserve their rich history and culture, and transform spaces by bringing people of all backgrounds together to live, work and play.

Pao Arts Center

Our mission is to celebrate and strengthen the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community of Chinatown and Greater Boston through access to culturally relevant art, education, and creative programs. Pao Arts Center functions in service of BCNC’s and BHCC’s goals to support the social well-being, economic success, and education of their constituents.

We Love Boston Chinatown

A resilience campaign led by a collective of Chinatown non-profit organizations, businesses, residents, and city officials to reactivate & heal Chinatown’s economic & social fabric. As part of the campaign, the Chinatown community has engaged in revitalization activities such as Clean-Up Day and Take Out Thursdays. We Love Boston Chinatown seeks to counter anti-Asian Sentiment by celebrating Chinatown’s rich culture and amenities in a safe, pandemic-conscious manner by encouraging takeout from restaurants and eating outdoors while maintaining mask-wearing and social distancing.
